Real Salesperson Don't Have Competition
There are so many salespeople and many companies like yours who sell products or services like yours, even with a lower price or better quality than yours and all of them want to get your customers. Are they your competitors? ... No. At this point you are asking "Why and how they are not?". I will explain, a real salesperson don't have competition. Actually he does but his only competition is customer ignorance. Respect other salespeople, they are also hardworking, honest and smart as you are, but never I repeat NEVER admit that they are your competition. Never mention they by name and NEVER use the word "competitor". Naming someone as competitor you validates him as competitor. Consider that knocking your so-called competitor will insult intelligence of your customer because he is considering his offer too. Knocking the so-called competitor will diminish you in the eyes of your customer. All you have to do is to forget about competition and focus on your customer. Then and only then when you believe in your dollarized proposition to your customer and value which your customer will get from your product or service, and if you believe that if you were the customer you would buy from yourself, you have no competition.
